 In February of 1923, my great grandfather registered the diamond quarter circle brand with the Colorado state board of stock inspection commissioners. This brand got passed down to my grandfather and in the early 1940s after returning from WWII as a pilot in the Navy, he started a crop-dusting business in Iowa and registered the same brand there. He then took the livestock brand and added wings to the tips of the quarter circle and coined the name Flying Diamond. He used this name for his crop-dusting business until he was called back into action and later returned home to northeastern Colorado where the Flying Diamond name carried over into many other endeavors he took. The diamond quarter circle brand was passed down to my father and he has since passed it down to me. 

After working with arguably the best team in system integration, performing work for some of the biggest names in the oil and gas industry; Tyler Pomeroy knew it was time to return home to northeastern Colorado. Tyler knew he wanted to continue to work for an integrator but was having a difficult time finding one that lived up standard set by his previous employer. It was at this time Tyler took a position working for an end user in the food and beverage industry with a massive, brand new, state of the art facility. After a short time with this employer, it was clear that Tyler needed to combine everything he had gained from his past employers as well as what he had observed from other Integrators he had worked alongside with and create something special. This is when Flying Diamond Controls was born.
